The Jaʿfariyya, whose mosque and centre are in al-Dirāsa, was established as a separate ṭarīqa within the Idrīsī tradition by Ṣāliḥ b. Muḥammad al-Jaʿfarī. He was succeeded by his son, ʿAbd al-Ghanī.
