On April 9, 2012, Jiang Chengbo 江成博 a sophomore student in Huilong High School in Qidong, Jiangsu changed his flag speech from “Ruhe shuli yuanda lixiang 如何树立远大理想 [How Can We Set up Lofty Ideals],” which had been “censored” by teachers to this speech “Zuo meihao de ziwo 做美好的自我 [Being Myself].” His criticism of current education not only won great applause from students on the scene, but also drew nationwide attention.
