late 14th- early to mid 15th century. England. These prose annals in Latin with key passages in Anglo-Saxon and Middle English cover the period from the legendary Albina to 1023. The Liber is also a cartulary chronicle (Cartulary Chronicles and Legal Texts) that includes charters, wills, and other documents relevant to the history of the monastery.
