ca 1486-1491. Low Countries. Anonymous Middle Dutch verse chronicle (417 lines) of the Counts of Holland, from Dirk I (922-939) to Maximilian of Habsburg (1482-1494 and 1506-1515). A possible author is the Carmelite Johannes a Leydis (Jan Gerbrandszoon, fl. ca 1465–1500), who wrote a number of chronicles in Latin and Dutch.
