[16c] Elsewhere, Muhammad ʿAli Khan Sayqani, the governor of Lamqan, in accordance with a farman issued in his name, as mentioned above, prepared an army and provisions for three months and ordered the honorary colonel Muhammad ʿUmar Khan and Mir Mahmud Shah Khan to go to Juniya, one of Kafiristan’s locales, via ʿAlishang in Lamqan with their soldiers and local mujahidin.
