[66cc] Distressed by Wazir Fath Khan’s defensive actions taken to protect the interest of His Highness Shah Mahmud’s government, certain Sunni leaders—such as Mir Waʿiz (the chief preacher); Shayr Muhammad Khan “Mukhtar al-Dawlah;” Sardar Ahmad Khan Nurzaʾi; and others—met and agreed to get rid of His Highness Shah Mahmud and Wazir Fath Khan.
