Friedrich Schlegel Kritische Ausgabe Online

The edition offers a critical new publication of all of Friedrich Schlegel’s writings printed during his lifetime, including the famous fragments and critiques as well as his poetic works (Abteilung I) and an annotated, indexed transcription of his extensive handwritten legacy (Abteilung II). In addition, it contains all letters not only from and to Friedrich Schlegel, but also from and to his wife Dorothea Schlegel, née Mendelssohn (Abteilung III). Thereby, it goes beyond comparable reference editions.
