A member of the Court cannot be dismissed by any outside authority. Article 18 of the Statute states clearly that no member of the Court can be dismissed unless, in the unanimous opinion of the other members, that member has ceased to fulfil the required conditions.1 This is completed by Article 6 of the Rules, by which:
