Article 68 of the Rules of Court provides that witnesses or experts who appear at the instance of the Court, and persons appointed to hold an enquiry, shall, where appropriate, be paid out of the funds of the Court. Article 16 of the Instructions for the Registry requires the Registrar to obtain from them the statement of their expenses for refund. No scales are laid down, the matter obviously being one for regulation according to individual circumstances.
