In the Rules of 1972, Article 67 introduced a completely new procedure for dealing with preliminary objections. In 1978 the general presentation of the Rules was changed, and Article 79 now appears in Section II, Occasional Rules, of the Rules of Court. The Article repeated the 1972 Article 67 with minor drafting changes in paragraphs 2 and 5, and appears in Section D, Incidental Proceedings, Subsection 2, with the new title Preliminary Objections.
