By Article 31, paragraph 5,of the Statute, should there be several parties in the same interest [font cause commune], they shall, for the purpose of choosing a judge ad hoc, be reckoned as one party only. Any doubt on this point shall be settled by the decision of the Court. Amplifying this, Article 36 of the Rules provides:
