There are no technical rules of pleading as such, apart from the substantive law governing the claim itself.1 On the other hand, there are rules regarding the documents to be included in or annexed to a written pleading. Article 50 of the Rules of Court, amplifying the final phrase of Article 43, paragraph 2 of the Statute, provides:
