Article 107 of the Rules sets out what an advisory opinion, to be delivered after the Court has completed its deliberations, should contain. The deliberations on advisory opinions are conducted in the same manner as the deliberations on judgments and other judicial matters.

The structure of an advisory opinion is laid down by Article 107 of the Rules (see § III.404 above). Any judge may, if he or she so desires, attach to the Court’s advisory opinion an individual opinion, whether dissen…
