Article 94, paragraph 1, of the Charter and the other texts that have been mentioned impose the obligation of compliance with the decisions of the Court upon each State in any case to which it is a party. This duty is binding upon the State as such for by Article 34 of the Statute, only States may be parties in cases before the Court.
