Biography

Teachers: Abd al-Qādir b. Muḥammad Sālim al-Majlisī (nicknamed “Qārrī”), Muḥummadhun b. Aḥmad Fāl at-Tandaghī al-Arba’īnī, and ash-Shaykh Ibrāhīm Nyāṣṣ al-Kawlakhī.

Muḥammad ʿAbd Allāh was one of the greatest muqaddams of the Ibrāhīmiyya branch of the Tijānī ṭarīqa for which he received an ijāza from Ibrāhīm Nyāṣṣ al-Kawlakhī (d. 1371/1971). He memorized the Qurʾān according to Warsh and Qālūn reading styles while…
