Teachers: His father ash-Shaykh Muḥammad al-Amīn and after his death his brother ash-Shaykh Aḥmad b. ash-Shaykh Muḥammad al-Amīn, Sīdī ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ḥāj Ibrāhīm al-ʿAlawī.
