Biography

Teachers: his father, Muḥammad.

ʿAbd Allāh b. Awbak b. al-Mukhtār b. Ayūb (in his name the ‘d’ in ʿAbd Allāh is silent and the ’l’ is emphasized) was from the Ramāẓīn fraction of the Tajakānat. He was a grammarian and poet who lived to be 80 years old.
