Biography
His full name is Abū Bakr at-Ṭufayl b. Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. ash-Shagh, and he was from the Muḥammad Muslim tribe, disciples of Tīchitt. He was a jurist, a reciter of the Qurʾān, and well-versed in many disciplines.
