Biography

A son of Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib w. al-Bashīr, he studied with Muḥammad al-Tōm Bān al-Naqā (q.v.), a khalīfa of Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib. Among his students were Yūsuf w. al-Jazūlī and Aḥmad b. Muḥammad al-Izayriq al-Jabalāwī.

1. al-Asrār al-ṭāhira li-ma ʿnā ’l-Nuqṭa al-dāʾira.

Comm. on Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Karīm al-Sammān, al-Minḥa al-Muḥammadiyya (q.v.).
