The corpus of texts from the Horn of Africa contains a substantial amount of letters. In the database of the project IslHornAfr, most of these have been registered as separate texts, while a few are registered as “paratexts”, which in the following list are singled out by the label “loose folio”. In the database most of these texts have a conceived title consisting of Risāla (Letter) followed by the name of the sender and recipient (or one of these, when part of the expected information is missing).
