Biography

Born at Odeomu, Oshun State, where he attended Maʿhad Taʿlīm al-Lugha al-ʿArabiyya. After his primary and secondary school education in Modakeke and Ile-Ife he studied at al-Azhar University, Cairo (B.A. 1990). After his return he was employed as a secondary school teacher in Igbemo-Ekiti, Ondo State, at the same time continuing his studies at the University of Ilorin.
