Madou Kebe b. ʿAbd Allāh

b. 1335/1917, d. 8 Rajab 1400/23 May 1980


He was born in Saint-Louis Sénégal where he received all his training.

He was taught by many learned Muslim clerics of Saint-Louis, including his uncle Yūsuf Diop and Aḥmad Ndiaye Mabèye. After that, he returned to his father’s village Ndiwine, close to Guéoul, Northern Sénégal. He shared his time between teaching and farming until his death. A lot of his writing was lost, except the following:
