Biography

Of Beja origin; poet and educationalist. He currently (2001) works in the Ministry of Education in Asmara. He has also published in the Sudan; he has, for example, two poems in the collection, Qaṣāʾid min al-Sharq, ed. Ḥassān Abū ʿĀqila Abū Sinn, Kasalā, n.d., 33-34.
