Biography

Grammarian and jurisprudent, said to be the author of many works. Last (1967a), 93, n. 14, mentions an Arab visitor to Bello’s court called Mallam Mūsā who wrote a large grammar entitled Ghalīl ṭālib al-naḥw wa’l-taṣrīf wa’l-khaṭṭ al-shāfī (sic), who was also a secretary and advisor who heard complaints as well.
