This branch of the Sammāniyya emerged under Qarīb Allāh b. Abī Ṣāliḥ b. Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib (q.v.) and presently has its headquarters at the mosque of Shaykh Qarīb Allāh in Wad Nubāwī, Omdurman.
