It is commonly believed that the first edition of a Letter of Pilate to Tiberius is that of Barthelemy Chasseneuz in 1571 (the 1st ed. of his Catalogus gloriae mundi is actually from 1546), but the Latin Letter of Pilate to Tiberius has been circulating in print since the last quarter of the 15th century and was printed by C.
