Before falling under Roman control, the Balearic archipelago (Spain) was divided into two parts: on the one hand the Pytiussae (Ibiza and Formentera), which belonged to the Phoenician-Punic koiné, and on the other the Baliares (Majorca, Minorca, and the tiny Cabrera).
