George, bishop of the Arabs (7th to 8th cents. CE), was a Syriac Orthodox cleric who wrote in Syriac on theological subjects and on Aristotelian philosophy. Little is known of his life, but information necessary to contextualize his writings comes from later West Syriac chronicles and his own extant letters.
