Thomas, also called Didymos, was one of the figures portrayed as Jesus’ apostle (Christ, Jesus, 01: Survey; Apostle/Disciple) by the canonical New Testament Gospels. Subsequent texts conflated him with the apostle named Judas, not the Iscariot, so as to create a figure called Judas Thomas, who is also Didymos.
