Cosmology, in its religious/philosophical sense, refers to an understanding of unseen or spiritual aspects of the universe. It is an aspect of worldview that deals with cosmic powers. A literalistic understanding of the spirit world is especially apparent in Pentecostalism, which affirms the reality of angels, demons, and the power of the Holy Spirit. In anthropological terms, Pentecostals could be characterized as having an enchanted worldview.
