Pentecostals are known by the term Pente in Ethiopia. The term in the context of Ethiopia, is too confusing to be employed in any scholarly work without major qualification. The designation itself has now morphed into a generic label for all non-Orthodox and non-Catholic Christians in Ethiopia.
