Very little is known about Greek Pentecostalism. Academic interest in Greek Pentecostal churches has always been limited, with very little scholarly research ever reaching publication. Whatever information we may possess, it originates with publications coming from the churches themselves, from important personalities of the movement, and from sources close to the Orthodox Church of Greece, which has been traditionally unfavorably disposed towards Pentecostalism.
