Charles S. Price (1887–1947) was a traveling evangelist whose evangelistic and divine healing meetings drew thousands and earned headlines in local newspapers, particularly in the U.S. and Canada. He was born on May 7, 1887, in Sheffield, England to Charles Henry Price and Mary Hannah Bee. According to his autobiography, he studied law at Oxford University for two years (Price 1944). Although he was never granted a degree, he would later adopt the honorary title “Dr. Price.”
