Prosperity Gospel (PG) has come to be regarded as the fastest growing strand of global Christianity. Referred to also as “health and wealth,” “name it, claim it” and “Faith Gospel,” PG is said to be crucial to the expansion of Pentecostalism in the Global South and to have extended even into secular as well as non-Christian milieus, such as Islam (Heuser in Heuser 2015).
