Agnes Mary Sanford (1897–1982) was an author, teacher, and speaker pivotal in the expansion of many aspects of Pentecostalism into the mainline and historic churches in the mid twentieth century. Her book The Healing Light was first published in 1947 and became the foundation of the Charismatic Movement’s theology of healing; it has gone through multiple printings and is still in print today.
