Adi Sutanto (1948–) is the founder of Sangkakala (Trumpet) Foundation, a mission foundation which was started on 27 May 1977. The foundation was established as the result of a longing from some young people from Bangsri, a small town in the north coast of Central Java. The youth experienced the Charismatic renewal in the Mennonite churches in Java during the 1960s, where Sutanto himself experienced it. The renewal began among the Javanese Mennonite Churches (GITJ) and later spread to the Chinese-Indonesian Mennonite Churches (GKMI).
