Revival movements in the second half of the nineteenth century (including the Holiness movement and Örebro Baptists) paved the way for Pentecostalism in Sweden. At the same time, in both Sweden and Finland, the Laestadians from the Lutheran church experienced charismatic phenomena. The Baptist pastor Lewi Pethrus visited T.B.
