George Floyd Taylor (1881–1934) was born in Dumpling County near Magnolia, North Carolina. Bishop J.H. King of the Pentecostal Holiness Church (PHC) wrote the following after the passing of Taylor, “When George Floyd Taylor came into the home of his father, it required three days of vigorous effort on the part of the attending physician and others to keep his soul from departing to the Great Beyond.
