Founded in 1917, the True Jesus Church 真耶穌教會 is one of the oldest Pentecostal churches in China. Early church leaders were Chinese Pentecostals who first encountered Pentecostal doctrines and practices in fledgling mission churches established by foreign veterans of the 1906 Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles.
