History of the church covering the period 305–439, meant to be a continuation of the Ecclesiastical History of Eusebius [7] of Caesarea. Commissioned by Cassiodorus , parts of this history were translated into Latin by Epiphanius [3] Scholasticus (Historia tripartita; also with excerpts from Sozomenus; eds. W. Jacob, R. Hanslik, CSL 71, 1952).
