Budaeus, Guilielmus; French jurist and theologian. Born Paris 26. 1. 1468, died there between 20. and 25. 8. 1540. 1483–1486 studied jurisprudence at Orléans; resumed studies 1491. Learnt Greek from George Hermonymus and Janus Laskaris in Paris. Studied mathematics, natural sciences, philosophy, history, theology, law and medicine.
