Also Du Pérac; French artist, architect and antiquarian. Born Paris c. 1535, died March 1604. Trained as a landscape painted and engraver in Venice; member of the circle of Giovanni Battista Angolo del Moro there [11. 39]; at Rome from 1559, then worked in France from 1578 to his death.
