German antiquarian, numismatist and writer. Born 1671 in Stockholm, died Veitsch (Upper Styria, now Austria) 6. 11. 1725. School in Stockholm; attended Univ. of Uppsala from 1682, Gymnasium Carolinum at Stettin from 1687, doctorate there 1689.
