Danish ancient philologist and historian of music. Born 1630 (?) in Tønning (Schleswig), died Utrecht 1710. Active at the court of Queen Christina of Sweden around 1652, later prof. at Sorø (Denmark) and the Athenaeum in Amsterdam (to 1670?).
