Settlement with citadel c. 20 km south-east of Karkamis in northern Syria. Possibly this was the location of a late Hittite (Luwian-Aramaean) colony, to which no buildings, but probably pictures in the late Hittite style from the time before and during the Assyrian conquest under Salmanassar III (?), can be attributed.
