Graves of the fossa culture; resettled after the volcanic eruption of AD 79 (thermal springs of Via Casone Grotta, 2nd/3rd cents. AD). Large number of archaeological finds from various villae; archaeological evidence of wine, olive and grain cultivation in the imperial period.
