(Κλεισώνυμος; Kleisṓnymos, ‘Noted with Praise’; also Cleitonymus: Apollod. 3,176). Son of Amphidamas [2] from Opus in Locria. He was accidentally slain by the young Patroclus in a dispute during an astragalos game, whereupon Patroclus was taken to safety with Peleus (Hom. Il. 23,84-90; Schol. Hom. Il. 12,1).
