(Διόμεια; Diómeia). Attic paralia(?) deme of the Aegeis phyle, from 307/6 until 201/0 BC of the Demetrias phyle. One  bouleutes. D. was located outside the walls of Athens and south of the Ilissus between Alopece to the South and Ancyle to the East [1], where, not far from the Diomeic Gate (Alci. 3,51,4; Hsch. s.v. Δημίαισι πύλαις; [2. 83, 112, 160 fig. 219 ‘X’), the Hercules sanctuary and gymnasium were situated in  Cynosarges (Diog. Laert. 6,13; [2. 340f.]).
