A legal collection that was discovered in a  Palimpsest, overwritten with the text of the Collationes by Joh.  Cassianus, by Angelo Mai in the Vatican Library (Cod. Vat. no. 5766) in 1821. Of the Cod. in its original scope of at least 232 parchment pages there are only 28 partly highly damaged pages left.
