early north-Arabic dialect ( Arabic). Its inscriptions, written in a slightly modified ancient south-Arabic alphabet, are predominantly grave inscriptions, amongst them two Hasaitic-Aramaic bilingual inscriptions from north-eastern Saudi Arabia (c. between 5th and 2nd cents. BC).
